Image enhancement for underwater range-gated image with multi-slice integration method

چکیده

Active illumination underwater brings the backscatter problem. The traditional pulsed laser range-gated imaging (PLRGI) system uses a small gate width to suppress most of backscattered light. As result, depth field (DOF) PLRGI is small. In addition, DOF has be extended when used for searching target. There are several methods extend DOF. However, every method its shortcoming. To overcome these problems, multi-slice integration (MSI) proposed. turbid water, image captured by MSI also rolling ball and intensity transformation proposed as an enhancement remove light improve brightness image. Experiments carried out in towing boat tank Mulan Lake show that better than lower-upper-threshold correlation, dark channel priors, unsharp filtering removal.
